Tour Itinerary
Day 1 – Guwahati ➔ Wari Chora
Pickup from Guwahati Airport or Railway Station and start the scenic journey towards Wari Chora. Travel through Assam and the Garo Hills before reaching your Wari Chora stay.
Day 2 – Wari Chora Canyon Adventure
Full-day exploration of the spectacular Wari Chora Canyon with a local guide. Enjoy the river gorge, trekking, kayaking or boating, swimming, river walking and the natural beauty of the Garo Hills.
Day 3 – Wari Chora ➔ Shillong
After breakfast, leave Wari Chora and travel towards Shillong. Check in to the hotel and spend the evening exploring Shillong and Police Bazar.
Day 4 – Shillong ➔ Cherrapunji
Travel towards Cherrapunji and visit Elephant Falls, Mawkdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint, Nohkalikai Falls and Mawsmai Cave.
Day 5 – Cherrapunji Sightseeing
Explore Seven Sisters Falls, Wei Sawdong Falls, Dainthlen Falls, Arwah Cave and Garden of Caves. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes of the Khasi Hills.
Day 6 – Living Root Bridge Experience
Visit the famous Double Decker Living Root Bridge. Enjoy the adventurous trek and, depending on fitness and conditions, continue towards Rainbow Falls.
Day 7 – Cherrapunji ➔ Dawki ➔ Shnongpdeng
Drive towards Dawki and visit the famous Umngot River. Continue to Shnongpdeng and enjoy the crystal-clear river surroundings. Optional boating, kayaking and other river activities may be available.
Day 8 – Shnongpdeng ➔ Shillong
Enjoy a relaxed morning beside the Umngot River. After breakfast, return towards Shillong and spend the evening at leisure.
Day 9 – Shillong ➔ Kaziranga
Depart Shillong and travel towards Kaziranga National Park. Enjoy the changing scenery as Meghalaya's hills give way to the plains of Assam.
Day 10 – Kaziranga Wildlife Safari
Enjoy a wildlife safari inside Kaziranga National Park. Look for the famous Greater One-Horned Rhinoceros along with elephants, deer and a wide variety of birds and wildlife.
Day 11 – Kaziranga ➔ Guwahati
After breakfast, check out and begin the return journey towards Guwahati. Transfer to Guwahati Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey.
